MagPad - Mounting Base for Magnetic Installations
The Starvmount™ MagPad is a powder-coated mild steel plate designed to provide a secure mounting point for Starvmount’s magnetic Mini Mount when working with non-magnetic surfaces.
It’s sized specifically to pair with our magnetic foot system and features a built-in tether point, allowing the addition of a physical restraint for added peace of mind.
MagPad can be bonded or mechanically fixed to surfaces such as GRP, fibreglass, aluminium roof racks, or timber. Once in place, it provides a clean, reliable interface for magnet-based setups where direct mounting to the vehicle or structure isn’t possible.
Whether used as a permanent baseplate or a modular addition, MagPad enables flexibility without compromising on safety. Key Features:

Important Notes:
- The MagPad is intended as a mounting point – the Mini Mount and magnets are sold separately
- Always use the tether when operating in exposed or mobile environments
- For maximum security, mechanical mounting is preferred where possible
